There are two editors. The default is the FCKeditor, a graphical editor such as found in MS Word. The other is the DokuWiki editor, which is text-based and uses a set of 'mark-up' symbols characteristic of wikis.
Using the DW Edit and FCK Edit buttons, you can switch between the two editors. When switching from the FCKeditor to the DokuWiki editor, you have two choices:
If you select the Convert option, you lose any of the graphical elements that are not supported by DokuWiki, for instance font selection. With the second option, a new DokuWiki editing window opens. It has a Preview button which lets you see what your page will look like when it is saved. You can click Cancel and return to the FCK window without losing your work. As long as you don't hit Save, anything you may have done in the FCKeditor window will not be lost.

| Cityscapes stores your pages by Country and City (or Place). | ||
| Sometimes the database supplies geographical names that are not an accurate reflection of the location requested when you click 'Go!'. It may find instead a nearby town or regional name or a city neighborhood or a park or some other landmark. | ||
| Make any necessary corrections, using the City/Place text box. This will insure that your pages for a particular location are grouped together. | ||
| Note: The latitudes and longitudes shown are always correct. | ||
